"Let's Be Friends" is a preschoolers' story about overcoming fear of diversity. Fluffy the rabbit is afraid to become close to Grizzle the bear, who wants badly to be friends. Fluffy runs away and hides in his tree. Grizzle thinks hard and creatively devises a way to appear non threatening to Fluffy so they can play together and become friends. Filled with expressive, colorful illustrations of a simple bear and bunny in the woods, "Let's Be Friends" is an imaginative story about friendship overcoming obstacles of diversity. Originally written by the author when she was in kindergarten, "Let's Be Friends" is an invitation to young children to pursue their creative ideas.
